Name a more iconic hot rod; truly a more iconic hot rod does not exist. A 1932 Ford coupe, many say, is what birthed hot rodding. In the mid 1940s, when there was a pause on manufacturing new cars due to WW2, the '32 became the prime candidate for customizing with its V8 engine and easily customizable bodystyle.
This particular '32 was a "survivor," primarily in tact, all original steel. The client had this car in his garage for years, just waiting for the right time to restore it to its glory.
The car is mostly a restoration with subtle, period-correct hot rod styling cues from the headlights, popular in the 1960s in customizations and without fenders and hood sides.
Washington Blue paint correctly bathes this coupe with iconic red "steelies on traditional bias ply tires.
