Where to even start with this one...this is the best example of scope creep gone right, hear me out.
Our longtime client came to us with this vehicle and originally just wanted a little "lipstick," clean it up a little so he could sell it but the more he drove it, he enjoyed it yet craved a little more horsepower, similar to his modern Camaro.
It would've been fitting but maybe a little expected to swap a Chevy LS into this muscle car so what what other cost-effective option would scream and do big smoky burnouts? How about something we can mod for big HP and Japanese so we can echo in the styling? And that's how the JZ28 was born.
There's probably not another build we've done that galvanizes onlookers like this does - imagine popping the hood of this would a crowd of traditionalists only to reveal a powerplant that's graced the Supra.
To style the exterior, we backdated the 78 to 70-73 styling, added custom aero and a set of Advan GTs.
Latest dyno readings are 700hp +, revs for days and of course, big smoky burnouts.
